SERVING THE NEEDS OF TRIBAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH FAITH, PRAYER AND TRADITIONAL TEACHINGS
HIMYUMA OUTREACH

Himyuma Outreach
Dedicated to supporting mental health and preventing suicide, Himyuma Outreach is a Native American owned non-profit organization. We strive to serve our community by providing essential resources and support to those in crisis through partnerships with counselors and access to traditional practices.
As passionate advocates for Indigenous communities, we have dedicated our lives hoping to empower our communities to overcome challenges through the embrace of cultural identity through service and ceremony. With our prison outreach efforts to our youth mentorship initiatives and ceremonies, we hope to see our relatives live the fulfilled life we believe they were called to live. Building leaders and healing trauma in our communities one step at a time.

Ceremony
Champions for Indigenous Sovereignty through traditional teachings, community service and cultural outreach. Our efforts to fight the spirit of suicide through song and ceremony reconnecting to the old teachings of our ancestors.

‘όykaloo nύunim himyύume
Pronounced: (oykalo noonim himyuma)
This is the Nez Perce term for: "All our relations". The fabric or our existence is intertwined into the bloodlines and relationships with all of our relatives and all of our environment and it is that fabric that has been broken in recent history. We have lost our familial connections, we have divided nations and separated families and it has dramatically impacted the lives of our people as the entire body has been completely broken. The Nez Perce Traditional and Spiritual Teachings and connection to those relatives is the foundation of our efforts, to help re build and heal that broken fabric and help heal a dying and broken world through the living spirit.
Lets take our rightful place..
